Planetary Vehicles and Starships follow the same rules for for attachments and mods as Gear (Customization & Modification).
The only difference is that installing each Mod costs ten times as much (1000 credits) on a Starship or Vehicle.

Hyperdrive Generator
May be installed on any ship with hyperdrive.
- Models Include: Isu-Sim SSP05 Hyperdrive Generator, SFS S/ig-30 Hyperdrive System, KDY JumpStar Hyperdrive Generator.
- Base Modifiers: Reduces Hyperdrive class by 1, to a minimum of 1.
- Modification Options: 2 Reduce Hyperdrive class by 1 to a minimum of .5 Mods.
- Hard Points Required: 1.
- Price: 6,400 credits.
Upgraded Weapons
See: Vehicle Weapons for weapon descriptions and tables.
May be installed on any ship or vehicle. Weapons themselves are restricted by Silhouette, and sometimes by Planetary or Starship.
- Models Include: Arakyd Flex Tube Proton Torpedo Launcher, ArMek SW-6 Heavy Ion Cannon.
- Base Modifiers: See Tables.
- Modification Options: None. (A few vehicle weapons have custom Mods listed in description.)
- Hard Points Required: 0 if replacing an existing weapon system.
- 1 if adding a new weapon system.
- Some weapons and Mods require additional Hard Points.
- Price: See Tables.
Linking Weapons
Vehicle Weapons can be linked using two or more weapons of the same type. This adds the Linked Quality to the weapon, with a value equal to the additional weapons added.
The price is half the cost of the weapon, per additional weapon.
Weapon systems combining two or more weapons always cost one hard point, even if replacing an existing weapon system.
